A Judge of the District Court will consider the written arguments and the Record on Appeal. They will review each Issue on Appeal and decide if there were any errors in the law, clearly wrong factual findings, or if there was an abuse of the deciding court's decision-making authority.
If you disagree with the District Court's legal reasoning, you may ask the Colorado Supreme Court if they will give your case one final review. Only a few of these cases are accepted for additional review each year. In 2014 and 2015 the Colorado Supreme Court granted less than 2.5% of requests for additional review from a District Court appellate review.
