- What do I File?
- Fill out CRCCP Form 4 - Notice of Appeal and CRCCP Form 5 - Designation of Record to start the appeals process.
- Where do I File?
- File the forms into the Small Claims Case. Then file a copy with the County District Court. For address information visit the Colorado Court Finder.
- When do I File?
- File in the Small Claims Court within 14 days of the Final Order. AND
- File in the District Court within 35 days of the Final Order.
- What do I Pay?
- Post the Appeal Bond when you file with the Small Claims Court. AND
- Pay the $163 Filing Fee when you file with the District Court.
- More information on waving these costs is in the Step 1 information.
- Serve:
- Give a copy of both forms to the other parties in the case.
- Notes on Filling out the Designation of Record:
- Write that an audio CD record has been requested in the space provided. Cross out the line that reads "5. Reporter's original transcript..."
